Bio

I was born and raised in Bergamo, Italy.

I studied in a scientific high school.

I got a degree in Automation Engineering from Polytechnic of Milan. While commuting to university, I got an idea that would become my first startup.

In 2015, after a successful crowdfunding campaign, I founded Bolt Motion, where I created Bolt, the most portable electric skateboard on the market. Bolt Motion was closed at the end of 2020.

In 2018 I moved to Switzerland, following an ex girlfriend and a internship opportunity after my startup failed.

In 2019 I found a new job after the internship ended, working in the intersection of software and hardware, testing and automation.

In 2022 I changed job again, realizing that I wanted to work more on software and less on hardware. I joined a small company in Zurich.

In 2023 I started working on PizzaGPT, a ChatGPT alternative for Italian users. It went viral.

I like making stuff. I'm planning to write about the next projects, while I'm building them. Subscribe to the once-in-a-while newsletter.
